Vilade Suspended, Out 3 Games Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 Curve third baseman Ryan Vilade was incensed after being suspended for 3 games by the commissioner's office following a heated argument the day before in the Altoona-Richmond game at People's Natural Gas Field. He was thrown out of the game for arguing a strike call. The league office cited Vilade for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct," which included throwing his hat at the umpire several times. This season Vilade has hit at a .195 clip and produced 12 RBI, 2 home runs and 7 runs. |
