Vidal Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, May 18th, 2019 The number just keeps getting higher. Richmond center fielder Carlos Vidal has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 4 at-bats as the Richmond took the 2-0 win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Blue Wahoos Stadium. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Pensacola manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Carlos Vidal singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season Vidal has 3 home runs and a .329 batting average. |
