Generals Chill Vidal's Hot Streak Saturday, May 25th, 2019 The Jackson Generals pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Carlos Vidal hitless in 3 at-bats during the club's 3-0 victory over the Richmond Flying Squirrels at The Ballpark at Jackson. The disappointing performance ended a 22-game hitting streak for the center fielder. "I'm a little down right now," Vidal said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." This season Vidal is batting .313 with 3 home runs. His totals include 11 RBIs and 11 runs scored. |
