NC Selects Johnston June's Best Starter Monday, July 1st, 2019 Over the past month Kyle Johnston has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the National Conference. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Tulsa Drillers posted 5-0 mark and a 1.04 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 34.2 innings, permitted 22 hits and fanned 32 batters. This year Johnston has a 7-1 record and a 2.68 ERA. |
