20-Game Hitting Streak for Pache Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 Mississippi center fielder Cristian Pache keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits at Smokies Park today. The Braves took the 9-2 victory over the Tennessee Smokies. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Pache said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Cristian Pache singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and tripled in the 8th. Pache is currently batting .314 with 7 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
