Pache Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, July 8th, 2019 Cristian Pache's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 25 games. The Mississippi center fielder smacked 2 hits against the Biloxi Shuckers in today's game at MGM Park, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Braves drop the game, 10-5. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Cristian Pache flied out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year Pache is batting .315 with 7 home runs. He has scored 69 runs and driven in 29. |
