Perez Lights Out in Shutout Win Monday, July 15th, 2019 23-year-old Richmond Flying Squirrels pitcher Freicer Perez had a strong outing against the Jackson Generals at The Diamond today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 7 in the 9-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 3 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. Perez has made 18 starts this season, posting 6 wins and 8 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .237 against him and he has 99 strikeouts in 106.1 innings with a 3.55 ERA. |
