Pache Extends Hit Streak to 35 Games
Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019
The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.

Cristian Pache did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at NYSEG Stadium today. For the last 35 games in a row, the 20-year-old center fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Mississippi Braves beat the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 7-1 today.

"I'm happy I kept the streak going," Pache told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Mississippi clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day."
Cristian Pache singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

Pache is presently hitting at a .328 pace with 8 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 86 games and scored 80 times.
