July's Starter of the Month Goes to Zazueta Thursday, August 1st, 2019 Over the past month Samuel Zazueta has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the National Conference. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos posted 4-1 mark and a 2.06 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 35 innings, permitted 23 hits and fanned 31 batters. For the season Zazueta has logged 7 wins and 7 losses and struck out 96 batters in 116.2 innings while compiling a 3.70 ERA. |
