Early Season End for Rutherford Saturday, August 10th, 2019 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Jackson Generals: shortstop Zach Rutherford is out for the year. Rutherford suffered a fractured elbow on 08/07/2019. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. This season Rutherford is hitting .271 with 102 hits, 4 home runs, 32 RBIs, scored 44 runs and played in 96 games. |
