20-Game Hitting Streak for Filia Thursday, August 15th, 2019 The hitting streak for Trenton first baseman Eric Filia now stands at 20 games, but the Thunder dropped today's contest 2-0 to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Filia went 1-for-3 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Eric Filia struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and walked in the 7th. Looking at his stats this year, Filia has compiled a .301 batting average, while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 47 runs. He has played in 97 games and scored 77 runs. |
