Wright Earns NC's Best Pitcher Honor Sunday, September 1st, 2019 In August, Kyle Wright tore through the National Conference like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Hartford starter posted a 5-1 mark and an ERA of 3.21 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 33.2 innings he collected 40 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .266 average. So far this season Wright has a 7-1 record, 9 starts, 49.2 innings, 58 strikeouts and a 3.44 ERA. |
