Wednesday, October 16th, 2019
The Reliever of the Year goes to the American Conference reliever who put forward the strongest season.

This season, that player was Kevin Comer of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, who was above all his peers in 2019.

"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."

On the season, Comer pitched 59.2 innings, with 94 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.36. He also had 5 saves in 48 relief appearances.

He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 30. Shea Spitzbarth of the Chattanooga Lookouts finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Connor W. Jones of the Bowie Baysox finished third with 1 first place vote.
