NC Star of the Week Announced Monday, August 13th, 2018 Sean Murphy burst onto the National Conference stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for Reading garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .423 (11-for-26) with 4 home runs and 6 RBIs last week. This year Murphy is hitting .288, produced 61 RBIs and 19 home runs, scored 53 times and gotten on base at a .369 rate. |
