Avila Holds Richmond Scoreless Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 21-year-old Reading Fightin Phils pitcher Pedro Avila had a strong outing against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at The Diamond today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 7 in the 4-0 win and walked 1 while surrendering 2 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. So far this year Avila has compiled a 10-9 record with a 2.88 ERA. |
