Wright Is August's Best AC Hurler Saturday, September 1st, 2018 There's something about a young rookie winning the American Conference Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Kyle Wright, a 22-year-old starter for the Arkansas Travelers. In August, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 2.25 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 36 innings, fanned 25 and held opposing teams to a .189 average. Currently Wright has a 5-0 won-lost record in 5 starts with a 2.25 ERA. He also has 25 strikeouts in 36 innings. |
