National Conference Names Ramos Best Batter Monday, July 8th, 2019 19-year-old Heliot Ramos made a few Jupiter headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and National Conference officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Ramos collected 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Ramos is hitting .304 this year with 12 home runs and 57 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .340, 19 walks and scored 41 times. |
