On a Roll: Siani Hits for Cycle Monday, July 15th, 2019 Mike Siani had a special day at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium today, contributing to the Down East Wood Ducks' 22-6 win and hitting for the cycle along the way. The 19-year-old center fielder went 4-for-6, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the Dunedin Blue Jays. "Boy, Mike had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" Down East manager said later. "You don't see that very often." For the day, Siani finished with 4 runs batted in and 3 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Mike Siani hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Weathers in the 4th, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th. In 62 games this season Siani has batted at a .230 pace with 49 hits and 6 home runs. |
