Kloffenstein Tosses Shutout for San Jose Friday, July 19th, 2019 Adam Kloffenstein really had his stuff working at San Jose Municipal Stadium today. The San Jose Giants hurler mystified the Carolina Mudcats and shut them out 10-0. Kloffenstein allowed a total of 8 hits in the ballgame and struck out 2. "The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Kloffenstein said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." Season-to-date Kloffenstein has rung up 6 wins and 8 losses in 19 appearances. He has an ERA of 5.33 and has fanned 45 batters in 103 innings. |
