Guilbe Swings for the Cycle Monday, July 29th, 2019 Sean Guilbe had a special day at Hammond Stadium today, contributing to the Fort Myers Miracle' 18-6 win and hitting for the cycle along the way. The 19-year-old third baseman went 4-for-6, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the Frederick Keys. "Boy, Sean had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" Fort Myers manager said later. "You don't see that very often." For the day, Guilbe finished with 8 RBI and 2 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Sean Guilbe grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a three-run double in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Thony Amoroso in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Currently Guilbe is batting .242 with 8 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
