Injury Brings Season to End for Hutchinson Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Inland Empire's Bryce Hutchinson to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 07/30/2019 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Hutchinson said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Hutchinson has been out of action since he suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Hutchinson has made 16 starts so far this year and put up a 3-9 won-lost record with a 7.38 ERA. In 92.2 innings he has allowed 133 hits, walked 31 and struck out 79. |
