Diaz Awarded July's NC Top Bat Prize Thursday, August 1st, 2019 Lewin Diaz has a lot going for him. The Rancho Cucamonga first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the National Conference has just picked him as its top hitter for July. In 27 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .408 with 8 home runs, 31 RBIs and 27 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Diaz has compiled a .319 batting average and a .397 on-base percentage, while hitting 20 home runs and driving in 71 runs. |
