5-for-5 Game for Conine Sunday, August 4th, 2019 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Visalia's Griffin Conine made it happen today against the Marauders. Everything came together at the plate for the 22-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Rawhide to a 10-2 win at LECOM Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Conine said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Griffin Conine singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Conine has compiled a .256 batting average, while hitting 12 home runs and driving in 41 runs. He has played in 93 games and scored 49 runs. |
