Guzman Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, August 5th, 2019 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the National Conference, but last week Jeison Guzman of the Palm Beach Cardinals reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Guzman rocked opposing pitching for a .545 average (12-for-22), 1 home run and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. Guzman is presently hitting at a .280 pace with 5 home runs and 50 RBIs. He has played in 97 games and scored 78 times. |
