Davidson Blisters Winston-Salem Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 The Modesto Nuts upended the Winston-Salem Dash at BB&T Ballpark today, thanks in large part to right fielder Braxton Davidson, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Nuts to a 15-11 victory. Braxton Davidson singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Bryan Bencosme in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Davidson is batting .249 this season in 94 games with 12 home runs, 52 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 374 at-bats. |
