Hernandez Hits in 20 Consecutive Games
Thursday, August 15th, 2019
To everyone checking on whether Oscar Hernandez kept his hitting streak alive -- today's answer is "yes."

Hernandez finished with a 3-for-4 day against the Tampa Tarpons. The Charlotte Stone Crabs catcher stretched his streak to 20 games as his club grabbed the 6-1 win at Charlotte Sports Park.

"It's not easy," a tired-looking Hernandez told reporters later. "Everyone's looking for me all the time now, so there's no showing up late to batting practice, and there's no slipping out of the stadium early."
Oscar Hernandez hit a solo-shot off Travis Moths in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Travis Moths in the 7th.

Presently Hernandez is batting .360 and has collected 29 home runs, 116 RBIs, .430 OBP and scored 84 runs.
