Yurchak 5-for-7 for San Jose Thursday, August 15th, 2019 It was a big day for Justin Yurchak and he brought the San Jose Giants along for the ride. Yurchak led his club to a 5-3 victory over the Myrtle Beach Pelicans today at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, smoking Myrtle Beach pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. The 22-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Justin Yurchak hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 10th, singled in the 12th and struck out in the 14th. Thus far this year Yurchak has hit .262 with 5 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
