American Conference Names Top Player Monday, August 19th, 2019 So far in his young career, Jackson Lueck has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the American Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Down East Wood Ducks catcher hit at a torrid .526 clip as he collected 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Lueck is hitting .287, produced 53 RBIs and 4 home runs, scored 50 times and gotten on base at a .401 rate. |
