5-Hit Blitz by Lake Elsinore's Hunter Jr. Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 Today at Lake Elsinore Diamond, the Lake Elsinore Storm fell to the Visalia Rawhide despite a splendid performance by right fielder Torii Hunter Jr.. Hunter Jr. had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Rawhide pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Lake Elsinore to come away with the win. Visalia whipped Lake Elsinore by a score of 10-8. Torii Hunter Jr. struck out in the 1st, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, singled in the 13th and singled in the 15th. For the season Hunter Jr. has produced 128 hits in 468 at-bats for a .274 average with 11 home runs and gotten on base at a .338 clip. |
