Ridin' High: Edman Hits for Cycle Tuesday, August 27th, 2019 The Charlotte fans had a lot to cheer about today as Tommy Edman hit for the cycle en route to a 12-2 victory over the Dunedin Blue Jays. The 24-year-old second baseman led the way with 5 RBI and 4 hits. Tommy Edman hit a two-run triple in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Tomas Alastre in the 6th and walked in the 8th. So far this season Edman has gotten 69 hits in 174 at-bats for a .397 batting average with 3 home runs. His stats include 36 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has played in 42 games. |
