NC #1 Pitcher in August is San Jose's Webb Sunday, September 1st, 2019 Over the past month Braden Webb has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the National Conference. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the San Jose Giants posted 4-0 mark and a 1.22 ERA. In 7 starts he tossed 37 innings, permitted 21 hits and fanned 48 batters. So far this season, Webb has logged a 15-4 record with a 2.09 ERA. He has started 26 games, hurled 154.2 innings and registered 213 strikeouts and 50 walks. |
