Stockton left fielder Wagner Lagrange thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Stockton to a 89-2 win over Buies Creek. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Lagrange said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Lagrange was 7-for-9 on the day with 16 runs batted in. Wagner Lagrange flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Henry Valencio in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Henry Valencio in the 5th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Henry Valencio in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 6th. This year Lagrange is batting .286 with 128 hits, 9 home runs, 69 RBIs, 51 walks, .364 OBP and has scored 66 runs. |
