Marauders Pitching Ravaged by Mack Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 Charles Mack exploded for a barrage of base hits today at LECOM Park. The Myrtle Beach shortstop had a field day in the 11-2 triumph over the Bradenton Marauders, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Mack must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Charles Mack singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this year Mack is batting .239 with 1 home run, 25 RBIs and 55 runs scored. |
