Braden Webb of the San Jose Giants will be adding a new centerpiece to his mantel after being tabbed for the National Conference Outstanding Pitcher Award today.

The 24-year-old hurler started 29 games this season, tallying a 16-4 record. In 169.1 innings, Webb gave up 94 hits, struck out 235, walked 59 and held opponents to a .159 average as he posted a fine 1.91 ERA.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Johan Oviedo of the Palm Beach Cardinals finished second in voting, while Riley Thompson of the Lancaster JetHawks finished third.
