Florida First Baseman Picked NC Player of the Week Monday, September 3rd, 2018 Yordan Alvarez burst onto the National Conference stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Florida garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .552 (16-for-29) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week. Thus far this year Alvarez is batting .356 with 9 home runs, 37 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
