Tampa Bay Trades Rodon for Houston's Paxton Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 Fans in Tampa Bay woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 23-year-old minor league RHP Justin Dunn, 26-year-old minor league RHP Jeff Hoffman, 24-year-old minor league 3B Rio Ruiz, 26-year-old LHP Carlos Rodon and 36-year-old RHP Darren O'Day to the Houston Astros. In return, the Rays will receive 30-year-old LHP James Paxton. Rodon's lifetime won-lost record is 28 wins and 37 losses with a 4.74 ERA. This season Paxton has a 1-2 record with a 3.12 ERA in 6 starts. |
