Miguel Andujar found his groove in today's game versus the Washington Nationals and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Miami Marlins, as the club lost the game, 7-5.

The 24-year-old third baseman told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."

"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Andujar said.

Miguel Andujar singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

Presently Andujar is batting .238 with 46 hits and 7 home runs. He has knocked in 26 runs and scored 21 times.
