Miami right-hander Rogelio Armenteros made an effective start against the Minnesota Twins at Marlins Park, leading his team to a 5-2 win. The Marlins now have a mark of 62-46.

The Marlins got a big at-bat from shortstop Francisco Lindor. For the game, Lindor was 2 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 5th triple of the season gave Miami a 4-2 lead.

"Rogelio is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Miami manager Pat Padula.
