|
The Washington Nationals topped the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-3, in National League action at Chase Field. The player of the game was Washington first baseman Yonder Alonso. Brandon Woodruff, the winner, improved to 3-0. He held Arizona to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. Arizona has now lost 11 straight.
