The Texas Rangers beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-4, at Miller Park. Texas first baseman Max Muncy earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. Will Harris converted his 29th save in 32 tries. Texas is now 71-46, 3 games up in the American League West Division.

Texas used the timely hitting of Cesar Hernandez to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rangers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Muncy said.
