Reds Continue Skid Thanks to Tucker, Marlins
The Miami Marlins relied on the hitting of left fielder Kyle Tucker to stop the Cincinnati Reds, 7-2. For the game, Tucker was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Rogelio Armenteros got the win, improving to 7-2. He held the Reds to 1 earned run on 2 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 4. Francisco Lindor had a big 2-run single for the Marlins in the bottom of the second inning. With Miami leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from Danny Salazar and stroked the single to center. It was his 154th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Marlins ahead, 4-0.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Miami manager Pat Padula.
