Renfroe Helps Padres Run Win Streak to 10
With left fielder Hunter Renfroe leading the charge, the San Diego Padres defeated the Colorado Rockies, 13-5, at Coors Field. Renfroe, who is tied for 9th in the NL in extra base hits with 63, went 4-6 with a home run and 3 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The first-place Padres have won 10 in a row.

Jose Altuve, who finished 4th in the NL in on-base percentage with .403 last year, aided the San Diego cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman was 1-3 with 2 walks and was hit by a pitch.

"We'd like to put some distance between ourselves and the rest of the division," said Renfroe.
