Reds Shut Out Giants
|
Cincinnati and San Francisco duked it out at AT&T Park and the Reds came out victorious.
Getting an impressive start from Dallas Keuchel, Cincinnati beat San Francisco by the score of 3-0. The winning pitcher was Keuchel, now 6-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4.
The result might have been different for Cincinnati, had it not been for Dustin Fowler. The left fielder produced a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put the Reds ahead, 1-0. For the game, Fowler had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"It was a solid team effort," said Fowler after the game.
The Reds saw their record improve to 21-20.
