Texas Secures Top Spot in American League West Division Monday, September 23rd, 2019 Texas Rangers fans are walking a little prouder today after their team officially clinched the American League West Division. "There's no reason to believe we can't win it all," right fielder Bryce Harper said bluntly. "Whether or not we're favorites, we can definitely do what it takes to bring the World Series home to Texas." The division crown is the 10th for the Rangers. The club will be looking for its 1st World Series victory. Team manager Eric Ferraro said "preparation and focus" will be key to bring home the championship. |
