Longo Earns PC Player of the Week Monday, July 29th, 2019 So far in his young career, Mitch Longo has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the National Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Louisville Bats right fielder hit at a torrid .462 clip as he collected 12 hits in 26 at-bats, no home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the season Longo is hitting .310, batted in 53 runs with 6 home runs and 52 runs scored. |
