Injury Shuts Down Lee for Season
Monday, August 5th, 2019
"Not what I wanted to hear," said Colorado Springs's Chris Lee to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/03/2019 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Lee said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Lee has been out of action since he suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament.
Lee has earned no saves and a 5-8 mark this season with a 4.84 earned run average in no relief appearances. He has worked 102.1 innings, yielded 99 hits, struck out 99 batters and walked 37.
