Owings's Strong Week Earns AC Trophy Monday, September 2nd, 2019 Chris Owings is respected by most Nashville Sounds fans for his no-frills style of play. The 28-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the American Conference Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .435 average (10-for-23) with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this year Owings has hit .283 with 6 home runs and 73 RBIs. |
