PC's #1 Player for 2019 Named Sunday, October 13th, 2019 Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Gwinnett Stripers proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the National Conference Most Valuable Player Award. Guerrero Jr. hit for a .357 average while collecting 185 hits, 27 doubles, 1 triple, 40 home runs, 116 RBIs and scoring 115 times. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Pete Alonso of the Albuquerque Isotopes finished second in voting, while Franklin Barreto of the Gwinnett Stripers finished third.
