Mata Toys with Portland Friday, June 28th, 2019 Portland dropped a 1-0 shutout to Bryan Mata and the Midland RockHounds at Hadlock Field today. The Sea Dogs offered little resistance to Mata, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 0 and walked 1. "It just felt right today," the right-handed Mata told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." So far this season Mata has a record of 5-3 with 21 strikeouts and 30 walks in 56.2 innings and a 7.78 ERA. |
