Travelers End Schales's Streak Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 Brian Schales of the Akron RubberDucks came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the third baseman, Akron dropped the game to the Arkansas Travelers 7-1. "It was not a good day today," Schales told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Presently Schales is batting .294 and has collected 7 home runs, 46 RBIs, .392 OBP and scored 46 runs. |
